Tasting comment:
Frai and dry with a crunchy scent, the light mouth punctuated by a slight bitterness at the end of the mouth typical of the grape variety.
Wine-food pairings:
Ideal to accompany fresh and fruity seasonal aperitifs, cherry tomatoes, raw vegetables in thin slices, but also as a starter salads or scallops in carpaccio or sauce.
The grape variety
Muscat blanc à petits grains, Muscat Ottonel are the grape varieties that give life to the Alsace Muscat appellation from noble grape varieties. They are planted on clay-limestone soils with a controlled yield.
