Very fresh and light, with a discreet fruitiness the sylvaner knows how to be vivacious, pleasant and thirst-quenching.
Wine-food pairings :
It can accompany shellfish and crustaceans, grilled fish, butter or sauce. And it also goes very well with sauerkraut, or desalterant with processed cheese.
It is a white grape variety, easily identifiable by the green color it displays when ripe with generous yields.
Its grapes offer a fresh and light Alsace wine with a lively character.
